Episode 8: The Untapped Resource: Family with Patrick Doyle Join our hosts as we chat with our good friend Patrick Doyle from Family Addiction Coaching as we discuss the role of the family in a person's recovery. Often the family is excluded from treatment and viewed either as "co-dependent" or "enabling" therefore, seen as a liability. However, many health professionals who struggle with substance use have deep seeded relationships with their families, spouses and children. How do we begin to change the culture and see the family as a critical element to long term recovery? Listen as we discuss about the most ignored, but valuable resource a person brings. About Patrick Doyle: Patrick Doyle has been working with both Families and Individuals suffering from substance use disorders, depression, and other behavioral health issues for thirty years.
