Episode Info:

A right old mixed bag this week. It's been a(nother) while since the last one, so loads to catch up on, again. Classic pop-but-not-pop from Jeff and a melancholy, atmospheric electronic song from Richy for this week's old tracks. We introduce a new segment, "Richy's 60 Seconds of Psyche" (actually, more like 90 seconds this time out) before The Randomizer throws up 3 totally different tracks. One of which causes Jeff to utter an uncharacteristic naughty and another that has him reminiscing about paying cable TV bills in Zambia. We finish off with a complex, kinda-dancey number that pays homage to a true electronic music legend, but which needs some serious trimming down, and a 2:40 psychedelic guitar pop track, that doesn't. We chat about: - the two very different gigs we went to (rockers Strand of Oaks and electronic act Jungle) - the new standard by which all gigs will be measured - Richy's adventure into East London to see current faves, Colombian psych rockers Follakzoid - Jeff's 2nd Annual Vinyl Frontier Singles Championship And we're recording the show in Richy's new place of residence - The Shed - so if you hear any tweeting birds or kids playing in the background, that's the reason why! Hope you enjoy the show, thanks as always for listening!
