About This Show
Join Joy Parrish and Claire Koch every Thursday for the first podcast specifically for women who aren’t afraid to lift heavy, work hard, and be a little ridiculous. Can't get enough!
Absolutely love Joy and Claire and listening to their podcast. They always have great content whether they have a guest on their podcast or it's just the two of them. They always keep it real and I relate so much to things they talk about. I look forward every time to their next podcast.

My Favorite Podcast!
This is an amazing podcast full of great information on Crossfit, health and life in general. I listen to you gals in my car during my commute and often times I am actually LOL-ing. Such a great way to start the day!
Ok, I admit I have been a total Damien, and have been meaning to write a review instead of just lurking. Well, today, something interesting happened during my CrossFit workout and you gals came to mind. I was warming up my push jerk with an empty bar and somehow, some way, as I was driving it overhead the bar flew out of my hands behind me and came crashing down onto my left calf. So embarrassing. It was pretty darn painful and even two hours later I'm still limping around. However, the first thing that I thought of as I was gritting my teeth in pain was your episode 'Always Use a Hook Grip', where Claire dreamt about Rich Froning not using a hook grip while eating his yogurt. OMG, I was dying with laughter on the inside while a couple of folks at the gym were trying to help me with my leg. Anyway, I finished the WOD while limping around around but just kept giggling to myself thinking about Episode 128.
Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy lives to deliver a great podcast! I love the positive, fun vibe you gals bring, it makes me love the CrossFit community even more.

My Internet BFFs
I first "met" Joy and Claire when they were wee little bloggers in the big internet world. I was super excited when they started the podcast, which was right around the same time that I was training for my first and last half marathon, putting Crossfit on the backburner. They would talk right at me sometimes as I ran; in one episode Joy even said something along the lines of, "If you are listening to this while running.. keep going, you can do it!" So I did.
Another mantra Claire shared during that training period was, "I can do hard things." And I sooo often refer back to that now in my Crossfit workouts. Such simple words, but they stuck with me for months.
While the girls are no longer my running buddies as I'm immersed in weightlifting and Crossfit, they accompany me on my ride to and from the box, giving me bits of advice to prep me for my workouts.
I feel like I have known both of them forever and even though I may not be the most active fan on their page or blogs, I feel like they are two of my best girl friends, and always excited to hear what they have to say next.
I wonder, will Claire ever get over that cough? Does Joy know that she sounds like Jillian? Can I have shoulders like Joy when I grow up? or string DUs like Claire? Can a roomful of girls talk about poop and not giggle? I need to go to Colorado ASAP.
While a podcast I once had launched and died pretty quickly, I am happy to see Joy and Claire's is thriving and sets the tone for my Friday and Saturday WODs.
Keep up the amazing work, ladies and hoping 2015 is your best year yet! :)
