HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY! What better way to celebrate the day than to talk about the incredible socialist women who created it? Clara Zetkin was a socialist and later communist activist, concentrating on the emancipation of women and the working class. She was instrumental in the creation of International Women's Day, and was even the one to set the date that we still use today! Irrespective of your political leaning, she is definitely worthy of celebration.

Also discussed was Erica Malunguinho, Brazil’s First Black Trans Lawmaker.

**Producer: Bea Duncan
