Today’s Guests are Ashley Kingsley and Aliza Sherman of Ellementa. Ellementa is a company with over 45 Gathering cities creating safe spaces for women to learn about #cannabis and seeking to connect consumers with brands.

Ellementa is conducting ongoing surveys of female cannabis consumers and how they approach cannabis as laws continue to evolve and work with cannabis companies to help them better address women’s unique health and wellness needs and interests around cannabis and CBD.

In this episode, Gill spoke with the women about their unique and close partnership, building and working within remote teams, Aliza’s upcoming talk at South x Southwest during the Cannabusiness track and how grassroots efforts to educate women are paying off. 

Aliza Sherman is a web pioneer who founded the first woman-owned Internet company, Cybergrrl, Inc., and the first organization for women to learn about the Internet in the 90s, Webgrrls International. She is the author of 12 books including Cannabis and CBD for Health and Wellness: An Essential Guide for Using Nature’s Medicine to Relieve Stress, Anxiety, Chronic Pain, Inflammation, and More, The Happy, Healthy Nonprofit and Social Media Engagement for Dummies. Her work has been featured in USA Today, Newsweek, Time, CNN, CNBC and MSNBC.

Ashley Kinsley is a serial entrepreneur, Ashley founded Daily Deals for Moms in 2010, grew into 27 markets and sold in 2012. She spent over a decade building digital marketing strategies for multi-million dollar brands, startups and more recently, the cannabis industry. She launched Ellementa Denver Gatherings as the first lead organizer.
