We all have those moments when you just feel a bit rubbish, a bit ‘meh’. Sometimes it feels like we just can’t ‘snap out of it’ and the day ends up being a write off, if you’re anything like me you’ll end up going home and comfort eating, cause, well, you deserve it right? Today has been TOUGH! Here are some of the best ways you can flip around your mindset, raise your ‘vibrations’ and change your state and get your day back on track! Life’s too short for ‘Meh’! 1) HAPPY SONGS I have a playlist on my phone called ‘Happy songs’ and it’s full of guilty pleasures that make me smile, I mean who doesn’t love a bit of Hanson right? 2) HAPPY FEET DANCE, find a class…or somewhere private…and bust out all your best moves, even the ones not suitable for the dance floor, let’s raise your vibration and give you a boost of energy…trust me, you feel ridiculous but it WORKS! 3) DO SOMETHING JUST FOR FUN Whatever that means for you, go on a bike ride, walk, read a book, watch an episode of your favourite Netflix show guilt-free, get a massage or take a class and get your creative juices flowing! Use social media for good and follow inspirational accounts to lift you up Social media is guilty of a lot of things….including inducing serious bouts of FOMO…BUT it can be used as a force for good! There are LOTS of accounts on Facebook and Instagram that dish out daily doses of inspiration and funnies that can help turn your day around just at the right moment! 4) SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE This is such a biggie because if you’re in a funk there are certain people who can make it worse and drag you further in. Identify those people and STEER CLEAR! BUT there are also just certain people that pull you straight back out again. Who are they? Message them, call them, go see them. You can even join some of the amazing communities on Facebook that are in line with your interests and get some love in there! I’ve just started my own facebook group for exactly that reason, for those moments when you need a little pick me up or some inspiration.
