About This Show
Show Info: The Four Courses Podcast - A podcast about all things culinary, from the foods that cheer you up to the drinks that calm you down. Andy and his guest hosts love to eat – a lot. We love to eat often and we love to eat a lot in one sitting. We aren’t foodies (we don’t seriously talk about umami), but we are food lovers. We are delighted when we find a new restaurant, try some weird new recipe, or taste an unexpectedly great drink (cocktail onions can be awesome, you guys). Everyone eats. Every culture in the world has rich traditions tied to food – feasts, fasts, and everything in between. People have been sharing drinks and breaking bread together since civilization began (and possibly before). It is one of humanity’s great unifiers. We all require food. Four Courses is a monthly podcast exploring this universal experience (food) in four segments: Appetizer, Intermezzo, Entree, and Dessert. The Appetizer is generally a restaurant review. Intermezzo covers the best and most interesting ways to utilize a certain food or ingredient. Our Entree is the main course of the podcast, covering some broad topic, while Dessert focuses in on trends or news related to food or drinks. People often don’t finish all their food, however, and that’s when we have Carryout, which so far, have taken the form of monologues, debates, and recommendations. The topics are different in every episode, and keep your ears peeled for Small Plates between the larger episodes, featuring interviews, reviews, games, and other content. We have a blast creating this podcast, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy recording, editing, and broadcasting it. Happy eating!
