Fake Geek Girls
About This Show
We are Merri and Missy, two girls who love talking about the things they love both as fans and as critics. We love comics, video games, movies, books, and everything from The Avengers to Zelda. Merri is a communications major with a special interest in gender, women's studies, and Sailor Moon. Missy is an English major and Hermione Granger trivia champ.

Episode 69 - Wonder Woman
We're working out the kinks (eh, get it? get it?) of our feelings on Wonder Woman in episode 69! As anything but experts on the iconic character, we're having bit of a learning experience as we read up on history, connect Marston's original concepts with the recent film, and think about how women training to fight makes us cry.Warning: Because the original comics contains themes of bondage and sex, we discuss those things openly and have marked the episode as explicit. We also swear! What Missy's Been Up To:

I love these girls!
I am a trans female. I love hearing FakeGeekGirls and hearing about new LGBTQQIA+ comics/shows, and I am still learning about representation of all minorities. I am especially loving these recent Sailor Moon reviews. My favorite Anime/Manga. <3
