Mental Performance Lab — I recently watched a movie on Edward Snowden, the guy who blew the whistle on the NSA spying on basically every phone in the world. He ends the movie with a line that I thought is really important. “I have freedom from worrying about tomorrow because I am happy with what I did today.” I like it for a few reasons: 1. It keeps you focused on the now. 2. It holds you accountable for what you did. Not what you said you would do. 3. It’s a great reminder that our lives will be pretty great if we gave our absolute best in every moment. For 2019 I want more days that create freedom in the future.
