This is our podcast introduction episode. It’s a short episode as I want to give you an overview of what you can expect from this podcast. If you’re a small business owner or an entrepreneur, you wear many hats. From lead sales person to office manager to payroll and everything in between. Whether its due to budget constraints or other restrictions... somehow you have to learn the finer points of almost every aspect of your business. At best, you can make a living and go home after a hard fought 12 hour work day. At worst you worked hard, put in long hours but just couldn’t make it happen. Your business failed. I wish I could offer you a magic solution that will fix everything and make all aspects of business ownership and entrepreneurialism easier but the reality is that I can’t. What I can do, is offer help, by giving you my simplified perspective on marketing. Yeap, I said simplified. I realized that in this technologically advanced era we live in today, marketing has become very complicated. To the point where a well educated and experienced CMO or Chief Marketing Officer is making six and in some extreme cases seven figure salaries. In most cases, marketing directors and associates are making as much if not more than most attorneys. The reason is simple. Marketing is one of the backbones of any business enterprise. No matter how good your product or service is… if no one knows about it, then your business is destined to fail. Likewise, no matter how good your sales force is… if they don’t have the right messaging and the right tools and the right materials to leave behind… you won't have a sales force for very long.
