The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Using Stock Images With the appearance of Instagram and Pinterest onto the online scene, pictures have become more important online than ever before and it's not surprising given that the majority of the population are visual learners. Pictures stimulate the brain and be the difference between an article being read or not being read. Used the wrong way, and image can make even the best article look lacklustre, but used the right way, images can compliment and enhance your work as well as tell a compelling story.  Do remember that every item you post on your site or the Internet whether it's the text in articles, your audio, video and images is content and so you want it to match your message. How To Make An Ordinary Image Look Awesome Here are just a few ways you can make an ordinary image look awesome: crop the image to remove unwanted items or areas zoom in one one part of the image add a little text to give context to the image (a little text being the operative word here) create a collage  if you're good with photoshop, do something creative like making a grey hat in a black and white photo, blue or orange or whatever color suits you By adding some creative flair, you don't even need to use expensive stock images, which is one way of keeping the costs down.
