Episode Info:

Marthe Schneider, Co Founder of Tibetan Tantra Inc.,  joined me to discuss healing various sources of sexual pain (dyspareunia), including vaginal pain, with physical therapy and tantra.  We also talk about breathwork and meditation for healing and recovering from past traumas.

Martha tells me how she begins to work with women combining the psychological with the physical.

“I always spend a good amount of time letting them talk as much as possible so that I can get a good feel of where they are coming from.  I need to figure out their beliefs about themselves, and about what sex should be.”

Martha explains how a lot of women who are referred to her with vaginal pain and other intimate issues often feel as if they are somehow ‘broken’, and worry that they won’t be able to make a relationship work or start a family.

In this interview you will hear about how women with these issues can be helped and supported, can and do go on to heal and have happy relationships. And so importantly, how women with these issues are not as alone as they may feel.
