We started by how we can generate leads using LinkedIn and Julie said you should have your profile in order first because it is the first impression you make on LinkedIn, make sure you have a professional photo, a really good headline and this should explain how you can help your clients not just your position or title, make sure your contact details are updated and finally, having a good summary about ensuring that you explain to your prospects how you can help them. The three biggest mistakes when people write their summary, the first thing is short summary, you have 2000 characters so make use of them and you can follow the following structure: - Who are your ideal clients - What are problems they have - How you can solve these problems - What is the proof of your solution - Why they should work with you Don't forget to update your experience, not just with your titles, what was your greatest achievement in that role and what skills and experience you have now to help your clients. Get some recommendations from people who used to work with you before. Connect with people who are your ideal target market.
