Episode Info:

Episode 57: Beth St. John ( is a 50 year-old feminist and entrepreneur who is very much looking forward to the end of perimenopause. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, she has also lived in Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Princeton and Amsterdam. However, she now resides in the historic village of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel with two of her four children, her partner Tom, his daughter, and their dog and cat. Beth spends most of her time plotting various ways she can move back to Amsterdam as soon as possible since she feels incredibly uncomfortable around too much nature, fresh air, and nice people. The rest of her time is spent on planning academic sustainability study tours in The Netherlands and consulting with other sustainability-focused entrepreneurs on their marketing and communications efforts. Beth loves to travel, has been to 28 countries, and religiously always has some sort of travel plans in the works. She values her family, good food and wine, her independence, being productive, and Planet Earth (but not necessarily in that order). This episode's motto: "Aging for women is entirely different than aging for men!"
