Episode Info:

An important and very tangible intersection between the offline world of meatspace and the online world of cyberspace is human rights. How human rights are experienced in cyberspace can have a very real effect on how human rights are experienced in meatspace. On this episode we discuss digital rights in Africa.

We dial in to Lagos, Nigeria to speak to ‘Gbenga Sesan, Tunde Okunoye, and Sodiq Alabi of Paradigm Initiative. ‘Gbenga (@gbengasesan) is Executive Director, Tunde (@TOkunoye) is a Research Assistant, and Sodiq (@SodiqAlabi1) is communications manager. They discuss Paradigm Initiative’s second annual Digital Rights in Africa Report which looks at the digital rights landscape in Africa over 2017.
