In this episode, host Joan Wheeler talks with UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County Professor Emeritus Jerry Stich, who describes his life in music, from high school days in Madison, Wisconsin to the 26-piece Big Band he currently directs, the jazz orchestra in which he plays trombone, and the annual slate of summer Concerts on the Square he organizes. For 50 years he has been a musical fixture in Baraboo, teaching, directing, performing, and promoting the playing and appreciation of music by people of all ages.
