Episode Info: Last week I talked about perspective. Hand in hand with perspective is perception. Perception is a process of attaining an awareness or understanding of sensory information. When our senses go off, our perception can be fight, flight, or prejudice.  The kind of perception I want to talk about today is about how we view people we encounter in a certain way because of our own past experiences we’ve had with a similar personality. Often we will believe someone is a certain way because our perception is dictated by this past experience.  But because of this, sometimes the perception we have of an individual or situation can be false.  I want to challenge you to be aware of this in your own life. Perception can be deceiving. Being unaware of this can damage relationships and opportunities. Don’t let your life experiences dictate what you believe someone else is doing or give you a false interpretation of their behavior. Challenge the perception you have of everything around you.    ACTION CHALLENGE: Be open to changing your perception and interpretation of your life.                                                                                                                    SHOW US SOME LOVE & SPREAD THE WORD!
