Episode Info: The problem with New Year’s Resolutions is that people often look at them in a short term perspective rather than considering them in the long term. People hope to accomplish something by a certain point and it doesn’t happen. So when they see things aren’t working out their way, they abandon the idea altogether.   Perspective is extremely underrated, but it is key to your mindset. Your mindset can be as strong as an ox, yet the perspective you maintain in how you approach individuals, tasks, business, etc. can be filled with false expectations.    Our perspective cannot always be true because of confirmation biases we have in our lives. We can become self-sabotaging if we hold onto the wrong perspective.   It is a little late, but I want to catch you while you’re considering giving up on your New Year’s Resolution. Forget the resolution! What I want you to do instead is change the perspective you have on what you’re trying to get done this year.     ACTION CHALLENGE: Challenge your perspective this New Year and don’t set false or unrealistic expectations for yourself. Challenge how you see things, individuals, and even how you see yourself – because how you see yourself is critical to success in any area of your life. When you challenge your perspective you will face resistance, but you will also gain muscle and grow.                                                                                                                        SHOW US SOME LOVE & SPREAD THE WORD!   Don’t forget to check out for:   This month’s Acknowledging Authors of Action giveaway: Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman   Shirts are now available for sale! & Get your free Culture of Action S
