Episode Info:

This week Pat runs down the Boss PS-3 Pitch Shifter/Delay. Released between 1994-1999; this was before the days of Rainbow Machines and Timeline delays and well ahead of its time. This wasn't the only unusual sounding pedal as the 90's produced a lot of crazed and chaotic effects, most designed in part by human-like beings from parts unknown. However, the PS-3 was the first in the Boss line to deliver dual pitch shifting sounds as its predeccesor (the PS-2) had only a single pitch shifting delay. This is a very fun pedal once you master the controls, and 11 modes but will turn some heads as soon as you plug it in to your fancy little rig.  This demo was recorded using a 1978 Gibson Les Paul custom and Vinny 1-Watt amplifier by Benson Amps. A dirty Rat might have made its way down the Hall and onto this recording but you'll have to tune in to find out! Like the show?
