Episode Info:

Look, a Kingdom Hearts game is actually out for the first time in nearly a decade, so we’re gonna talk about it, but I promise you it’s worth it. We dive into the surprisingly subversive nature of Kingdom Hearts 3, the calm that comes from running through Resident Evil 2 over and over again, and how Tetris 99 convinced us that Nintendo Switch Online is worth your while.

Spoiler warning: There are some spoilers in the Kingdom Hearts segment (largely about the ending of the Pirates of the Caribbean segment, as well some obliquely-described lore discussions). There’s a relatively huge one 1:05:51 to 1:06:20 (again, no specifics but it’s enough for the warning). If you want to skip the whole thing, avoid 55:45 to 1:15:00.

If you’re not backing us yet, head on over to patreon.com/continuepodcast. A contribution of at least $5 a month will get you let you listen to the show a day early, give you access to the exclusive Continue Podcast Discord channel, along with exclusive podcast content. This week, we talk about the hellscape of social media and the games we’ve bought the most.
