Episode Info:

In our final podcast for Series 2, we speak with young collector, Charlotte Fletcher. In this episode, Charlotte introduces us to the world of art collecting and we explore the reasons why people start their collections. We also discuss how she developed a connection with the artist who produced the first piece she bought and why this connection is such an important value for young millennials when collecting art. Charlotte also explains the importance of conservation when establishing a collection to ensure the longevity and maintain the quality of the works. Finally, we announced an exciting project that we are undertaking – The Christie’s Education Young Collectors Club – which will launch in September 2019. Stay tuned for more updates on that. Many thanks for listening to Series 2 of the podcast.
