Mario Kart 64 – Cane and Rinse No.298
Cane and Rinse rejoins the race in 1996, as we review Mario Kart 64 - a wildly divisive entry in a much-loved but polarising series. Leon, Darren, Leah and Michiel discuss the transition from Mode 7 to polygons as well as many other significant (including some still controversial) alterations to mechanics and handling Nintendo made for this, their first kart sequel. As usual we also hear of the community's love and hate for Mario Kart 64 when we collectively reminisce about fun and fury filled days and nights of blue shell shenanigans on the Nintendo 64 in the mid-late 90s, and beyond.

One of the best Video Game podcasts
The hosts always have excellent and intelligent critiques on games. I have listened to almost every available episode. This podcast tends to make me want to replay games I have beat or even try new ones. One of the absolute best Video Game podcasts ever.

This podcast is astonishingly dull.
This podcast tends to meander for quite a long time before getting onto topic. Often exhaustively so. This podcast is more for those who like games that don't focus on story or characterization and rather more on action game play and sound. Very nostalgic over old games (while rightly so) it gets excessive after hearing about them over and over again. Listened to several episodes because I really wanted to like this podcast but I just couldn't take it. They are always so negative and constantly complaining, *constantly*, even over games they do like.

My favorite video game podcast.
They cover a wide variety a games and have a huge list of old episodes so it is always easy to find something interesting to listen to. They cover mostly older games which is great. It makes me want to replay some and try a few that I missed. This is most intelligent and positive podcast that I have found. The hosts are great.
