Why We Have To Raise The Minimum Wage
Our guest today had never been a political person, mostly because he simply did not have time to. He works three jobs trying to support a family. And that is the issue: based on the minimum wage in America, he is still struggling to provide for his family. It certainly isn't due to a lack of work ethic. Here is my very personal conversation with minimum wage activist Terrance Wise about how we can right the ship.If you're a fan, check out our new line of t-shirts from the Crooked Media Store at https://store.crooked.com/collections/majority-54Important links: @fightfor15@Majority54 @JasonKander firstname.lastname@example.org Produced by Brock Wilbur Ads: ZipRecruiter.com/54GetQuip.com/Majority54Read more »

Show is great but 'helping' in commercials is not
The show itself is really interesting. I really like the part at the end where Jason gives you rebuttals to Republican talking points. The 2 episodes I've heard were both thought-provoking. However, he has his wife do the commercials - she's fine, commercials are fine (ya gotta support yourself) but his "flirting"/and CONSTANT interrupting and acting like a 14 year old boy or Al Franken "being funny" are enough to make me bail on the show. Jason, butt out! Let her do the commercials - you are SO not funny.

This podcast is so important. This is something I never knew I needed in my life. Each podcast is better than the last but each previous doesn't feel diminished. Very well done, and truth be told, your delivery of the commercials is hilarious to me because you remind me of my own husband and me. I, too, went to school for political science, and have been working in food service for nearly a decade for life reasons(husband, kids, starting a business). I am going to be starting a political education blog to use MY platform soon. I am currently laying the groundwork and am hoping to go live by the end of January and I have been asked to run for local school board in April 2018. Thank you so much, Mr. (and Mrs.) Kander for both your service and this podcast. Can't wait to keep listening!
