Diana and Brittany LOVE watching TV especially and appreciate the beauty of a show’s ability to universally connect to audiences regardless of their own background and experiences. They re-watch and reflect on shows like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad for people who have also watched and enjoyed these shows. The second part focuses on TV shows and films currently on their weekly radar. Lastly, they bring up their favorite quote, character or moment of the episodes they reviewed. Easy to listen to this thoughtful podcast
I love this podcast. My favorite part of it is when they move beyond the plot and highlight how abstract elements like love, fear, and faith relate to the human experience as a whole. It's interesting when they dissect this and it can relate, because it's not the show that's interesting. It's the mini-theses they think of. They point out things that you notice as an audience member BUT probably don't give it extra thought like Brittany and Diana do.
