Hobart Hall of Famer Tom Grimaldi is a native of Corning, New York, a western New York lacrosse hotbed. He helped Hobart win four straight national championships during his playing days for the Statesmen. He also earned All-American honors, Attackman of the Year, and National Player of the Year. He is a member of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges Athletic Hall of Fame. Grimaldi played for Hall of Fame coach Dave Urick who is been inducted this weekend into the inaugural class of the Cortland State Cradle of Coaches Hall of Fame.
