Theodore Roosevelt The Hostage Situation And just like the quote from Roosevelt....the best thing we can do is the right thing.  In our investing quest, whatever it is that we are seeking...choosing right...great.  Doing worse. How many people do you know that look back on their lives or in moments of time, and wish they had done something different.  Now, look around at people who wish they would have something...even if it was the wrong thing. This ties into Roosevelts other famous quote...Man in the Arena, which is like...the mantra of my website ..STA. Podcast Update Thanks for your support...and spreading the word! You my friend...are Awe-some. 216 downloads in April.  In may...430 downloads...almost double...and I only released 3 podcast episodes. Nearly 900 downloads total since we've started. Somebody may have shared something or one of my podcasts with their buyers lists or something... Also...yes...finally...found a great video recorder for PC's that uses skype. So, basically, I'm not setup to be able to do some cool interviews with guests and get you guys some great podcast info. 3 Tips for Better Contractor Success 1) Watch their work...or have somebody else oversee it. Siding story... 2) Don't lose your cool. Everything always works better when cooler heads prevail. Screamed at co-owner of a bigger company this weekend. 3) Don't pay in too ANY point. The Plaster Guy. Always have them paid in more than you. Even the siding the job, but a new crew is back on tomorrow. DC House - It's back. Basically...wasn't interested in it any further. Nice dry basement.  New furnace and AC, new hot water tank scrubbed the walls and cleaned the gunk off basement walls and floor Beautiful Heart House Contractor Turmoil with the siding. Did some basement wall parging on my I have cement burns on my forearm. I did in 3.5 hours 80% of the basement and the other guy only did 20% and it took him 26 man-hours.
