Blue Frontiers is focused on innovating with sustainable peaceful floating islands based on voluntary cooperation, to help communities adapt to sea level rise and to promote emergent and self-organized ways of living. In this special two hours and a half episode, Joe Quirk, author of the book Seasteading: How Floating Nations will restore the Environment, Enrich the Poor, Cure the Sick and Liberate Humanity from Politicians, speaks of his experience as a seavangelist and what has been to spread the message of seasteading to every corner of the world. Joe also speaks of his two future books and why is it so important so incentivize innovation in the market of governance. He also explains very carefully how the ocean already presents less centralized agreements than land and his vision for a future where seasteads have become more ubiquitous. Joe´s experience in seasteading has been shaped by being the President of The Seasteading Institute and also co-founder and managing director of Blue Frontiers. Joe also speaks of his participation on Ephemerisle and Burning Man and what fascinates him about the polycentric laws of the ocean no one speaks about!
