Our intrepid hosts drink another one of super fan Jack’s submission as he was kind enough to procure some Jester King brews!

Jester King Brewery

13187 Fitzhugh Rd, Austin, TX 78736

Brothers Jeff and Michael Steffing found an old machine shop in southern Texas, took it apart, and moved it to Austin. They spent the summer of 2009 rebuilding it into a brewery. In September of 2010, Jester King brewed its first batch of beer, Boxer’s Revenge, a barrel-aged sour strong ale. In October of 2010, they sold their first beer to Draught House in Austin, Texas.

Beer #1: 分 桃 (Fēn táo)

Style: Sour/Wild Ale
ABV: 6.4%
Flavor Text: “Barrel-aged wild ale refermented with Hill Country peaches!”

Flavor Text: “This beer is a collaboration with CROOKED STAVE (Denver, CO) and BRASSERIE TROIS DAMES (Sainte-Croix, Switzerland).”all three breweries brewed the same beer at their separate breweries, fermented that beer with their own mixed culture, and then aged the beer in cognac barrels.
