Episode Info: Charlie Wilson, also known as "Uncle Charlie," is a singer, songwriter, producer, and former lead singer of The Gap Band.  He's been nominated for eleven Grammy awards, six NAACP Image Awards (one of which he won), and he's won a 2005 BMI Icon Award and a 2009 Soul Train Icon Award.  In this episode of Backstage Stories, Charlie called Connie to talk about how he stays in shape between tours to keep up with his demanding shows and why it's important to him to put on such a show for his fans.  They also talked about Charlie's expectations of himself, his band, and how being a perfectionist can make things difficult on the road.  Finally, Charlie opened up to Connie about the passing of Prince and how it affected him personally and professionally.
