Episode Info:

We changed things up a little bit on this Tuesday edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke was still joined at the top of the show by Brian Blessing, but we brought back old friend Philip Rossman-Reich to chat a little NBA with us in the place of Ralph Michaels, who was unable to join the show today. Adam and Brian started by talking about the NFL, NHL, and the bowl season. On the NFL side, the guys hit the huge Thursday night Chargers vs. Chiefs game and also tackled Saturday's two games with Texans vs. Jets and Browns vs. Broncos. In the NHL, the guys talked about some important and savvy betting angles and also looked at other situational spots to consider. An overview of bowl season rounded out the segment. Philip Rossman-Reich from Orlando Magic Daily is a great guest for the NBA and it was good to chat some pro hoops on today's show. The guys took a look at the Eastern Conference contenders in LeBron's absence and handicapping the field through the quarter point of the season. They also focused more on the surging Celtics and then talked about the South"least" Division. On the Western Conference side, they tried to diagnose what's wrong with the Rockets and also looked at the Mavericks, Clippers, and Grizzlies.
