Ghoul evening, comics enthusiasts! In this episode, the cadaver-friendly duo of Chris (@AceComics) snd Reggie (@reggiereggie) examine a spooky offering: Creepy #1, produced in 1964 by Warren Publishing! After some information about James Warren and his company, they’ll read every story in this trend-setting black-and-white horror anthology, providing biographical information about the creators along the way–putting special emphasis on “The Success Story” by Archie Goodwin and Al Williamson, including the true origin of that gory story. After a break, they’ll wrap up the life of James Warren and his company, and then tell the tale of one Myron Fass, who also produced black-and-white comics magazines for his company, Eerie Publishing. It’s a bone-chilling episode sure to keep you cool, just in time for Summer!Read more »

If you like comics this is the podcast for you. If you like comix this is the podcast for you. Chris and Reggie are a great team and fun to listen to. They discuss all kinds of comics from all eras. They've done a series of episodes on under ground comics. They've done a series on the history of the comics code authority. They've talked about some of the greatest writers and artists. They even talk about comics you may never heard of.
Every episode is very entertaining and engaging. Highly recommended!

My fave comics podcast to listen to
These guys not only know their comics, but the show is always well produced, well researched and often very funny. The latest episode on the atrocious "Jim Nastics #1" was a real knee-slapper. I always enjoy that they provide some background on the creators and characters involved, plus plenty of other background info relating to the comics they discuss.
