In this episode Kyle Neumann recaps week 12, talks latest injuries/headlines, and previews week 13 in the NFC North. Thanksgiving week was only kind to one North team, and that was the division leading Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota’s top 5 offense and defense feasted on the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day for a 30-23 victory. As for the rest of the North; Green Bay lost a heartbreaker to Pittsburgh on SundayNight Football 31-28 by a last second field goal, despite Brett Hundley’s best game of the season for the Packers. Chicago proved to be highly inferior to the best team in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles, as Carson Wentz and company crushed the Bears 31-3. Week 13 is a must win week for the four North teams. Green Bay (5-6) returns home to face the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7). Minnesota (9-2) stays on the road to take on the red hot Atlanta Falcons (7-4) in the game of the week. Detroit (6-5) looks to bounce back on the road against the much improved Baltimore Ravens (6-5). Finally, Chicago (3-8) looks to just get a win as they return home to take on the new look San Francisco 49ers (1-10).
