This is gonna be really fun- for episode 82, we're going to talk about ideas for building a real stories sequence. When I see people's stories, I love the effort. I love that they're trying, I love that they're posting, but I'm seeing a lot of people not understanding what the stories is going to do. I'm seeing them just posting random things that aren't strung together at all. And I want you to imagine that you picked up a book to read up at bedtime for your kids. We do every single night. And imagine you opening that book. And the first picture was, you know, a picture of, uh, the characters dog. And then the next page was a picture of that character, you know, in front of their school bus. Kimberly Olson: 00:48 I mean, if there was like no rhyme or reason to it, you'd be really confused with the story, especially your kids would, right? So when it comes to your stories, you want to start thinking about how can I make it a real story? So I'm going to give you a product based example today and a business based example today. So you have two clear examples to work off of. This can be your framework and that way you can start to see how this works. Okay, so stories are intended for people to see more dimension of who you are there. Let your hair down a little bit. The sweaty selfies are cool. You're not as polished like you are in your Instagram feed or in a Facebook live video. It's the behind the scenes. It's what is the life like for Kimberly? You go to my stories right now, which you can't because this is recorded, but if you did, you'd see there's a lot of video promotion today because I've been doing a ton of Facebook lives, so people are going to see that going, Oh wow, Kimberly. Kimberly has all kinds of new content out today. I want to go check it out. Okay, so I'm more in that business entrepreneurial influencer space, but I work my kids in all the time. I show us as a family for the holidays us traveling, all that. Okay, they rock because they're going to give you more leads. Stories are viewed way more than the newsfeed. Okay? Look at the number of how many people view stories. I get thousands of views every day on my stories and a post on Instagram might get a couple hundred, well I don't know how many views, but probably similar.
