Episode Info:

Yes, I ripped off the title of the Wu-Tang Clan’s first album (listen to it, for it will improve your life). This episode is an event preview and a training special. I’ve climbed aboard the Wahoo KICKR, temporarily resigned myself to the pain cave once again, completed the 4DP Full Frontal Fitness Test on The Sufferfest, and now I’m ready to train to conquer the mountains of North Georgia from deep within the hurt locker. We’re within two months of our annual, last-Sunday-of-September pilgrimage to Dahlonega, Georgia, where over 2,000 masochistic, Lycra-clad velo jockeys (just like you and I) will attempt the 31st edition of the Six Gap Century and Three Gap Fifty bike rides. Cyclists will be rewarded with Georgia’s most breathtaking overlooks and mountaintop vistas; however, the only way to the top of the mountain is to suffer in silence and daydream about the spaghetti supper waiting for you at the finish line.
