Episode Info:

In this episode you
will learn:

  1. Recognize when you are being negative.  Train your mind to continually move toward positive thoughts
  2. Here’s an exercise to help you be more conscious of your thoughts and move toward positivity.
    • Take 10 small things (beans, popcorn kernels, etc.) and place them in the pocket of your non-dominant side.  When you’re feeling negative, put one of the beans in the dominant-side pocket.  Keep thinking positive thoughts until you can move the bean back to the non-dominant side.

Key Takeaways:

  • Complaining is energy.  Whatever you put energy to, grows.  You must fast from complaining.
  • Ask yourself, what can I learn from this situation
  • You are a spirit housed in a body
  • There’s something in every experience that I need to learn

Affirmations –

  • The Spirit within me knows the answer to any problem which confronts me.
  • I turn any thought of confusion to a consciousness of peace.*
  • Allow me to have peace in my negativity; I don’t want to stay in this negative place
  • In calm confidence, in perfect trust, in abiding faith and with complete peace, I let go of the problem as a problem.*
