All About Agatha (Christie)
About This Show
All About Agatha is a weekly podcast all about, well, Agatha. Agatha Christie, of course. The Queen of Crime, a real-life Dame of the British Empire and author of sixty-six mystery novels that spanned the Twentieth Century, defining a genre. Every month we revisit one of these novels in the order they were first published in the UK. Discussions range from plotting and interpretation to the impact of the beloved adaptations to an attempt at ranking them all. On the weeks in between, we take a breather to discuss one of her many (100-plus) short stories, plays, non-mystery novels, and notable periods in her life. Call it a Christie-fest, as we revisit Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence, and oh so many others.... Join us.

Rejoice, for our favorite (well, only) married detective duo are back! And they have chosen to put their brains together in the early Twentieth Century version of a Denny's restaurant to solve a murder-by-hatpin on the links that has been reported in the newspaper. Okay, sure! Plus we were able to shoehorn The Golden Girls into this episode, so everybody wins. (Except the hatpin murderer, of course.)

Perfect blend of critical analysis and humor!
They do a great job of dealing with a "problematic fave." Blending serious analysis with references to 90s teen dramas, proving that we can still enjoy the queen of mystery while not turning a blind eye to the xenophobia and other problematic viewpoints in Christie's work.
I love, love, love this podcast--great hosts and format, if you a fan of Agatha Christie you will not be disappointed by the care and love the hosts bring to the show.
