When there is no ‘real’ fear, the goal is to feel the fear and do it anyway. Here are three suggested practical steps to conquer your fear, take control of your life and lead with your strengths.
* Act with a rational approach. Stepping out onto a stage is not life threatening, but jumping off a cliff is… to gain a rational perspective… lead with your strengths.
* Control your past experiences. Your past doesn’t control your future. The person you were yesterday is not who you are today. But bring along your experiences, and lead with your strengths.
* Trump your thoughts and visualize the outcome. Go into new situations with a positive attitude. Attitude + Passion = Results (A+P=R). Don’t let you fear control the situation. You want to go into all situations with confidence that everything will turn out the way you want to experience it… then you can lead with your strengths.
