104: Casey Miller | Leadership & Inspiration
3 days ago
Casey Miller is the founder of 6 1/2 Consulting which is a leadership development firm that helps organizations become better leaders which facilitates greater engagement and inspiring cultures among employees. He goes deep into the psychographics of what people require to feel fulfilled in their work for the modern times we live. It's no longer about just bringing home a pay cheque, people need to know 'WHY' their company exists and 'HOW' they are creating a difference for the better in this world.
In western culture it could be argued that some of the greatest innovations seem to come from the business' that operate within it. Generating the ideas and technologies that are ultimately leading how our society and culture operates (for better or worse) and it is with this in mind that we are all faced as people who run business' or who work in them to be assessing how we may be contributing to the future we choose to live in and pass on to the next generation.
It is from this perspective that Casey delves deep into this topic and the passion that fuels him to do the work he does. Casey was a very fascinating guest on our show and we look forward to hearing from you about what you think of the conversation we had with him...

Best conversations in Vancouver
Vancouver Real brings out some of the best conversations I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. If a city can have a nature vs culture balance, Vancouver is lopsided in favour of nature—but Vancouver Real does a fantastic job of trying to even out that balance. They bill themselves as being dedicated to “cultural evolution,” but in real life what this seems to mean is fascinating conversations with a broad range of interesting people. What I find so valuable is the variety: intellectual, demographic, worldview; their guests are always different and always a pleasure to listen to. And so are the Zaremba brothers, who run the podcast. It’s like being invited to the best dinner parties—where the guests are both interesting and true to themselves rather than being careful—on a weekly basis.

Powerful content, that encourages growth!
OK, so I may be biased as I am one of the hosts of this show, but even when I try to be objective about it, if you're into personal development, open-mindedness, creativity, entrepreneurship, spirituality and listening to interesting people, then this show could be for you!

Andy and Mike are thought provoking interviewers that dig deep into topics I do not see elsewhere. I love the episodes that get into the subconscious brain. Vancouver Real is refreshing.
