#099: Moment Meditation | Hiroko Demichelis
2 days ago
This episode features one of the founders of a really cool new company called Moment Meditation. We'd consider them a leading expert and resource in the field of meditation. Their meditations are designed with you and your life in mind. They use a combination of research-backed, evidence-based mindfulness techniques to guide you to a calmer, more focused, and happier you.
Hiroko comes from a rich background around meditation and psychology learning from her father, a pioneer in a lot of ways in these fields. She really breaks down the science and physiology of what is happening to us when we meditate. This is a fascinating discussion for sure!

Best conversations in Vancouver
Vancouver Real brings out some of the best conversations I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. If a city can have a nature vs culture balance, Vancouver is lopsided in favour of nature—but Vancouver Real does a fantastic job of trying to even out that balance. They bill themselves as being dedicated to “cultural evolution,” but in real life what this seems to mean is fascinating conversations with a broad range of interesting people. What I find so valuable is the variety: intellectual, demographic, worldview; their guests are always different and always a pleasure to listen to. And so are the Zaremba brothers, who run the podcast. It’s like being invited to the best dinner parties—where the guests are both interesting and true to themselves rather than being careful—on a weekly basis.

Powerful content, that encourages growth!
OK, so I may be biased as I am one of the hosts of this show, but even when I try to be objective about it, if you're into personal development, open-mindedness, creativity, entrepreneurship, spirituality and listening to interesting people, then this show could be for you!

Thought Provoking and Refreshing
Andy and Mike are thought provoking interviewers that dig deep into topics I do not see elsewhere. I love the episodes that get into the subconscious brain. Vancouver Real is refreshing.
