The Mommy Gamers
About This Show
Trying to be a parent AND a gamer is tough, we juggle so many different things that sometimes the gaming gets forgotten. We will talk about gaming, being a parent, cooking, fitness, shoes, whatever comes up because we know that when you're a Mommy you wear a million different hats, and not all of them are geeky.

Episode 160 of The Mommy Gamers Podcast might be the first actual successful attempt at a quickie show. Carrie spent a little time at the hospital almost having her baby, and while she needed the rest...she hates missing a podcast so they made this one quick. That doesn't mean this show isn't slam packed with our usual epic content, it just means you got it a little faster and funnier this week. Marcia, Desirai and Carrie chat about the last game they couldn't put down. Marcia discusses, Hoagie, a fun new card game she got to review and play with her daughter. Desirai discovered Tinitell, a wearable mobile phone for kids. Remember that sigh of relief you let out when you realized The Vampire Diaires talk was over...forever? Well, now Carrie and Desirai have moved on to talking about The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals and Marcia ins't very happy about it. Listen for this and amazingly enough so much more for such a short show. If you're still reading this, please leave us some comments or a review wherever you get this podcast. Mommies that game..who knew?
Even if you're not into gaming these ladies will make you laugh. They often have fun co-hosts who are active in the gaming community or who just happen to do something cool like write a book or just be a kick-bootay parent. It's not JUST for mommies...they have daddies and non-parents on the show as well. It's sarcastic, and silly and just plain fun. You can also catch them on YouTube or any other social media outlet.

I love being a mum and I love gaming and it's nice to see, I'm not alone with that. It's fun to listen to, very informative, inspiring (which games to play next) and I like the anecdotes and stories about their families and kids. Highly recommended!
