Welcome to a special episode of The Last New Wave. Andrew was able to sit down and discuss the great career of Brian Trenchard-Smith with the man himself. Starting off with a discussion about his new book - The Headsman's Daughter - before moving back to where it all began with Brian's editing of trailers and then moving into directing The Man From Hong Kong. This extensive interview covers a lot of Brian's work, while at the same time it only just scratches the surface.
The Australian film Brian recommends at the end is Tony Williams Next of Kin.
