About This Show
Hosts Wayne Hallee and Steve Ball take you around the the hockey world with news and notes. Leagues covered are (but not limited to) NHL, AHL, QMJHL, WHL, OHL, NCAA and European leagues. If it's newsworthy, you can be sure Wayne and Steve will be talking about it.
We occassionally will also discuss topics around youth and amateur hockey, specifically, playing, coaching, and officiating hockey. We may even discuss stories relating to hockey arena and hockey rink maintenance.

Michael Twiss: https://www.gofundme.com/in-loving-memory-of-michael-twiss : On March 20th 2017, in Wake Forest NC, Michael Twiss passed away from injuries sustained while playing hockey. While we know that Michael loved playing hockey, especially with his three sons Kyle, Ryan, and Tyler, it's nearly impossible to make sense of why or how something like this could happen. Michael was a beloved husband and father and, for those of us who played with him, a hell of a teammate. While most of us know him because of hockey, his influence stretches beyond just that community. He was always outspoken and fiercely competitive and most of us will choose to remember him as a fighter, a leader, and a friend. All of our thoughts and prayers are with his family now. There is little that can be done to ease the pain of those whom he loved and that loved him. As a community of acquaintances, associates, teammates, friends and family we'd like you to consider helping however you can. Any money raised here will be given to the family for their needs in the coming days, weeks, and months. We hope you will all use this fund as an outlet to express your sympathies and share your condolences. There will be expenses associated with this sad event and as our show
