Today's podcast guest is Diane Gilleland. Living in Oregon, Diane is the genius behind Crafty Pod who has written three books, taught all over the country and for Creative Live along with being an early craft blogger and Podcaster. During our podcast, we have a thoughtful and deep conversation about the ever changing craft industry and why she decided to leave. This is a raw and emotional episode meant to be thought provoking so if there is a need to respond to it, I would appreciate a kind one. Thank you.

Great conversation, full of insight and emotion
I love this podcast! The host asks the questions I would ask and, since she is sharing her life with the guests in a real dialogue, her guests really open up. I feel like I am learning about them, about Sandi and about their inspiration and crafting practice. I am particularly interested in quilting and it seems Sandi has snagged interviews with ALL my heroes! And those folks I don't know, I think I should know!! I've enjoyed every espisode I've heard and I'm now working my way through them all. Thank you Sandi and your guests

Loved this podcast!
I happened upon your website and was excited to see Crafty Gemini featured in the podcast. I enjoyed listening to the positive ways that you both worked through the challenges of your craft and cultural background. I have watched many video tutorials from Vanessa and love the way she teaches. I think crafting has no barriers (age, gender, culture, etc). When you shared the stories of customer service, or lack of, I was shaking my head! Who knew that in the quilting world there were stereotypes? Thanks for all that you do and share!
