2017 Star Wars Light Side Half Marathon Weekend Recap

In this episode, we're joined by Susana Cruz for our 2017 Star Wars Light Side Half Marathon Weekend Recap. She ran the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon while Mark run the 10K and Half, and they take us through the expo, the courses, and the entertainment. We also provide some advice if you're considering back-to-back runDisney race weekends (like WDW Marathon Weekend/Star Wars Light Side or Wine & Dine/Super Heroes) and we briefly discuss the recently-opened Wine & Dine and the state of other races, all of which are still available for registration including Star Wars Dark Side and Princess Half Marathon (through a travel provider).
Early registration for 2018 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders starts Thursday, February 9th at noon ET and runs through Monday, February 13th. General Registration for those events, including the 5th anniversary Dopey Challenge and 25th anniversary WDW Marathon, begins on Tuesday, February 14th at noon ET. I think Dopey 2018 will sell out much faster than it has in recent years, so you'll probably want to register as soon as you're able.
