How to reclaim your rights with Mark Schaefer
< 1 day ago
In this show I talk to Mark Schaefer, international speaker and multiple best-selling author about his efforts to get the rights back to his book, the Tao of Twitter, from McGraw-Hill. As a publisher they weren't keen to do a new edition of the book, which for a social media book, Mark thought was unacceptable. In addition we also talk about the lessons self-publishers can learn from his new book Known. Really informative, offers something different
The Begin Self-Publishing Podcast is providing something quite different from all the other self-publishing podcasts that I listen to.
Tim Lewis is the host of the show and it's quite clear that he comes from a technical background.
However, he does not 'over-geek' the show at all, it's totally accessible and packed with useful information.
Whilst firmly focused on the needs and concerns of the indie author, Tim takes a more technical view of things, but his explanations are clear, pertinent and very informative.
The show is made up of a mixtures of guest interviews, observations and updates from Tim and his reviews of self-publishing services and softwares.
I'm hearing some new voices on this show too, it's well worth a listen alongside all the other great indie author podcasts that are available.
