About This Show
"What, Like It's Hard?" is a podcast about writing movies starring three people who have never made a podcast or written a movie. Armed with nothing but crappy laptops and a dream, our three impassioned novices Dale, Kellie, and Spencer have set out to document the free-wheeling journey that begins with a lot of bad ideas and ends with, God willing, a finished screenplay.

In our fourth episode, we've voted on our favorite pitches and compiled a long list of ideas that advanced to the next round. Now, we storyboard! For the next several episodes we'll look at our favorite ideas with a lot more depth, exploring a lot of horror themes and styles along the way. To get started, we dig deep into Kellie's tale of Monstrous Mothers and Bad Daughters, before moving on to her pitch about the clairvoyant woman who foresees that she will murder the man she loves. This leads to lots of debate about who's the biggest sociopath, and a rousing round of the Paul Simon inspired game "7 Ways To Kill Your Lover".
