273- Choosing an Alternative Wedding Venue
5 days ago
Choosing where you are getting married, your wedding venue is a big step in the wedding planning process and one that pretty much guides all of your other decisions along the way. This episode we explore everything you need to think about when it comes to choosing to hire an alternative venue, from the logistics to thinking about all of the wonderful venue options that you may never have even considered. My guest is Yael from Splacer.co, which is a marketplace where people can list, discover and book unique spaces. Their marketplace gives you access to undiscovered and under-utilised spaces, offering extraordinary arenas for your wedding. Unlike other platforms (like Airbnb), Splacer curates its spaces: all spaces are reviewed by their team with an eye for great design and the logistics like insurance and whether the property owner will allow a raging, stomping party in their space, is pre-checked, so there is no awkward negotiating down the track. Even if you have already booked your wedding venue, this episode is full of logistical information that will help guide you along the way.
Love the Bridechilla Podcast and want access to 250+ episodes!
Download and subscribe to Bridechilla Premium on IOS and AndroidUse the codeword KOALA for 25% off annual memberships!

Have a question or comment? I cannot describe amazing it was to have this podcast while well planning. Aleisha made wedding planning so much easier because she (and her guests) talked about it like sane human beings where doves & calligraphers (and especially chair covers) were not needed. I've been listening since it was called the Save the Date Podcast and it always made me feel like I was listening to a friend and in a community of other like minded, haven't been planning my wedding since birth, don't want to go into debt brides.

This wasn't what I was expecting - it's waaaaay better! The style of the show is so natural and relaxed - it will deffo take the stress out of wedding planning. So if you're knee deep in wedding magazines, blogs and peer pressure - get a bit of this in your life, and thus become a bride or groomchilla.
I have to admit, I'm already married - listening to the Save the Date podcast is my guilty little secret...

LOVE this podcast!
The Bridechilla podcast is informative, entertaining, and shocking at times :) - and I LOVE it!!! Aleisha is down-to-earth, funny and often mouthy (lol) - all wrapped up in a lovely, well-spoken, beautifully accented host. I feel like she's a friend I get to spend time with. Love you, Aleisha!
