412-TMcKenna: "Permitting Smart People To Hope"

3 days ago95 minutes

Among his catalog of paradigms that he believes are being challenged, Terence McKenna includes the uncertainty principle, about which he says more “muddle-headed prose” has been generated than around any other principle of physics. And while this talk was given in June of 1994, some 20 years before the events in Ferguson, MO, even back then you will hear him speaking about “the illusion of stability in social space.” Along the way, as always, he comes up with several captivating phrases, such as, “crazed monogamites and their dominator stooges.” Another thought of his, “The Earth is on the brink of the greatest change since the end of the mesozoic, but people don't like to think about that because all they can think about is the possibility of personal extinction.”
