Darin and Brendan share their thoughts and tips in Food Strategies to Maximize Cardio Session Fat Burning. Best Time to Exercise for Fat Loss There are two types of cardio, long, low-intensity and high-intensity interval cardio. High-intensity is the safest efficient way to lose fat. Cardio, done first thing in the morning, has a fat-burning advantage. You only need two :35-:40-minute sessions per week. Any movement is better than sitting on a couch. - Darin Steen If you plan your workouts first thing in the morning, you get it done. If you plan for midday or later, chances are something will pop up unexpectedly and you don't get your workout in. Darin has found that we do not stay as consistent with workouts scheduled after 2pm.
