About This Show
Luke and Josh, editors for NeonCheetahs.com, sit down together and discuss both hypothetical game pitches and actual existing games, with the end goal of proposing "solutions" to the problems they're presented. They're not necessarily million-dollar solutions, but that's all right. We're not paying them a million dollars anyway.
Along the way they'll discuss what makes various games interesting, how game mechanics interact, the difference between realism and verisimilitude, and a potpourri of other things. This is one hot pitch we know you'll want to catch.

Spitball Sessions #10: The Roller Coaster Buffoons and the Final Yawn-tier
With the new glut of Roller Coaster games (well, three. Does three count as a glut?) the guys look at some ways that this genre could be raised to the very peak of excellence… and then dropped at a high speed, over some hills and around a loop-de-loop, before returning to the station.
Then they look at the space trading genre. Why does a genre that seems to have potential as infinite as space itself frequently seem so underwhelming?
And pay attention for a special contest!
