We as a generation are kind of rid of old disciplinary habits, so how do we discipline today? There are so many inconsistencies today. The first two years we teach them to walk and talk, but then the rest of the time we are saying to slow down and stop talking. Today a key misconception is making our children our partners in their development. The child does not have a controlling stake in their so to speak, company. In truth, a child does not ever leave the parent. The family unit is all an interconnection. Whatever attitude we live with, our children will adopt. This has been an issue forever. Abraham had one son who rebelled and one who brought joy. Children learned with pure joy, will have no tempered boundaries. Children raised with pure criticism, will condemn others and themselves through adulthood.
